Over the past week, 358 children were born in Kazan: 176 boys and 182 girls. The largest birth weight was 4690 grams, the smallest – 820 grams.

Popular names for children have become Amir, Emin, Arseny, Emilia, Azalea, Yasmina. Among the rare names are Rome, Anatoly, Idris, Theodore, Estella, Athena, Evia, Ellina.

During the same period, 312 marriages were concluded, the Registry Office of the Executive Committee of Kazan reported.
