In Department the registry office of the Executive Committee of the Zelenodolsk municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan was held a solemn celebration of the wedding anniversary of veterans of the great Patriotic war devoted to the Victory Day.

The meeting participants were young couples who soon plan to marry.

In simple examples the participants could identify their personal characteristics and personality traits of the elect.           On May 9, 2016 across all Russia the international public campaign «Immortal Regiment» which participants go for the march with portraits of the relatives veterans has taken place. For the first time «The immortal regiment» has passed on May 9, 2012 in Tomsk. The initiative of holding an action was supported also in other cities including in Nizhnekamsk. 

       May 9, 2016 at the monument to the fallen of the village Upper Uslon held a festive event dedicated to the 71st anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. The event started with a solemn procession of "Immortal regiment" walking column, spearheaded by head of the municipal area Marat Ziatdinov, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Information and Communication of the Republic of Tatarstan Roman Shaikhutdinov, district prosecutor Vasily Egorov and residents of the area with portraits of the deceased and the deceased veterans.
