In Nizhnekamsk congratulated the veteran of the Great Patriotic War on the 90 anniversary

     On October 3, 2016 the 90-year anniversary was celebrated by the resident of Nizhnekamsk, the veteran of the Great Patriotic War Alexander Fedorovich Torgovkin.

     This significant day the deputy head of Executive committee of the Nizhnekamsk municipal district on social problems Aydar Faretdinov, and also representatives of social protection and the «Mercy» center wished the long-liver happy birthday. Guests wished the veteran good health, good luck, family heat, handed the congratulatory address and a memento. 

     Alexander Fedorovich was born in 1926 in the village of Varvarino of the Bashkir Republic, in a family of workers. Upon termination of school, together with parents, he moved to the city of Sterlitamak where he worked as the electrician.

During the Great Patriotic War Alexander Torgovkin served in the Far East in anti-tank artillery. For merits before the Fatherland it was awarded «Awards of Patriotic war of the II degree» – the very first award which appeared those years in the USSR.

In 1965 the veteran arrived to Nizhnekamsk and long time worked as the engineer for CHPP-1, and then the master in the «Kazan Thermal Networks» organization.

Alexander Fedorovich together with the spouse Valentina Vasilyevna grew up two children, and by the main joy considers three remarkable grandsons. Spouses lead active lifestyle, daily are engaged in the Scandinavian walking, and are going to celebrate one more family anniversary – a «gold» wedding anniversary.
