Migel and Kassandra: what names citizens of Nizhnekamsk give to their newborns

In the Registry office of Nizhnekamsk analyzed results of the State registration of children birth in 2015.

Over the past year in Nizhnekamsk municipal district was born 3950 newborns, from them – 2060 boys and 1890 girls. Including in the district was born 31 pairs of twins.

In 2015 parents of Nizhnekamsk approached creatively to the choosing names for their babies. About 300 babies were given unusual and exotic names. For example, between boys there were: Rubin, Samuel-Nana, Mark David, Migel, Aiyub, Arturas. Between girls there were: Melissa, Anabel, Lilavaty-Mirra-Delhi, Malvina, Lioleta, Kassandra and Eleonora. Increasingly, the children began to emerge with ancient beautiful names: Miron, Aristarkh, Mustafa, Amal, Chingiz, Pelageya, Ruf and Khadizha.

The Names Artem and Victoriya are on the first place and considered very popular between little children.

The most widespread names among girls became: Milana, Yasmina, Anastasiya, Arina, Samira, Valeriya, Amina, Ralina, Anna. The most popular in 2015 among boy-names are Timur, Karim, Amir, Kirill, Matvey. Danil, Alexandr, Roman and Dmitriy.
