As part of the event "On the active wave" on October 2, a holiday dedicated to the International Day of the Elderly was held in the cultural and leisure complex named after V.I. Lenin
On this day, pensioners could do their hair, makeup for free, learn to draw mandals, attend master classes and find a new profession for themselves. They also received consultations from the city's Employment Center, lawyers, medical workers and social protection departments.
At the event, the Office of the Registry Office of Kazan held a solemn celebration of the spouses of family life "Diamond" and "Golden" couples. Wonderful families, a model for everyone, gathered for the celebration of the 60th and 50th anniversary of married life. The spouses were congratulated by the Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Tatyana Larionova. The anniversaries remembered the history of acquaintance, their work path, shared the secrets of marital longevity. The joyful event with the anniversaries was shared by their children, grandchildren.
Within the framework of the program, craftsmen of our region were awarded, who live in boarding houses for the elderly and disabled. The festive program continued with performances by creative teams. The musical numbers pleased everyone present. This cloudy but warm day has become truly festive for people of venerable age. Everyone was energized and positive.
