The Artemievs' wedding took place on May 20, 1972. It was on this momentous day, fifty years ago, that they became husband and wife. Their union turned out to be really strong, the spouses still endlessly love each other. We raised three wonderful children and 6 grandchildren.
Vasily Alekseevich began his career as a mechanic, and then worked as a deputy director for economic activities at the Matyushinsky state farm until retirement. For many years of work, he was awarded certificates of honor and medals. One of the most significant awards is the Certificate of Honor of the Republic of Tatarstan. Vasily Alekseevich was awarded the honorary title of Hero of Labor.
Ekaterina Konstantinovna worked for the first time as a fur breeder, then she was an employee of the rural house of culture. Since 1977, she was elected a deputy of the village Council and for 30 years before retiring, she held the position of secretary, deputy chairman of the Oryol Rural Council.
