The school camp of Gymnasium No. 11 was visited by the Wedding Palace of Leninogorsk. At the meeting, the children learned about the history of the civil registry offices of Russia from the decree of Peter 1 to the present.
The registry office for young people is mostly associated only with a beautiful wedding ceremony, and on this day, schoolchildren learned that this is far from the case. Civil registration authorities provide more than a dozen public services - students learned about them firsthand. An employee of the registry office told that the registry office «passes next to a person from birth to death». All the data has been stored for many years in the archive of the institution, where there are documents that are more than 70 years old.
The event continued with a tour of the departments of this institution. The children were very interested in the archive: shelves, the type of books and their number, the paper on which the notes were made, and ink. The meeting ended with memorable photos.
