And for many years now, archives have been reliable guides to the past. And the people who work in them – archivists, archivists-cherish history and painstakingly multiply the work of many generations.
On March 10, as part of the All-Russian holiday of the Day of Archives, the Wedding Palace was visited by students of secondary school no.2.
Deputy Head of the Civil Registry Office Guzel Sagitova told about the repository of human destinies-the archive, about the records of civil status acts located in it, about the conditions for storing documents.
Then the students had a quiz session on the topic "Archive in the mirror of times and destinies", in which they were happy to participate and actively answered questions.
And, since the Day of Archives this year fell on Shrovetide week, at the end of the tour, the children were waiting for a surprise-a treat with pancakes baked according to the registry office recipe.
