Today, the Kirov registry office of the city of Kazan has opened its doors to gold and diamond newlyweds
The holiday was held for the anniversaries of family life, who celebrated this year the 50th and 60th anniversaries of the family. «Newlyweds» remembered how they signed in the book of acts of civil status and received the first family document from the hands of a registry office employee.
Recall that the tradition of honoring couples who have been married for 50, 60 and 70 years originated in Kazan in 2000 and continues to the present. Every month, in all city departments of the registry office, employees hold celebrations for those Kazan citizens who, more than half a century ago, crossed the threshold of the registry office and tied their fortunes. Such «newlyweds» are given a cash gift and a congratulatory address of the Mayor of Kazan, Ilsur Raisovich Metshin.
Very, very pleased that from year to year the number of family anniversaries is only growing.
