Аction "We are Together Against Corruption!" In the Privolzhsky Civil Registry Office

          On 9 December, the action "We are Together Against Corruption" was held on the International Day Against Corruption in the Privolzhsky Department of the Registry Office. The staff of the department held a conversation about an interesting memorable date - the International Day for Combating Corruption with all who addressed this registrar's office on this Saturday. Let's remind that this day was proclaimed by the UN General Assembly. On 9 December 2003, the United Nations Convention against Corruption was opened for signature. The document obliged states to criminalize bribery, theft of budget funds and the laundering of corruption proceeds. Russia among the first countries signed the Convention. Participants of the action in the registry office were lovers who applied for marriage registration, happy parents who received birth certificates for newborn children, elderly people who brought their documents in compliance with the norms and other people who applied to the registry office for their vital decisions - important issues. It must be said that everyone was very interested in the information and took part in the action with pleasure. All visitors were given a special Memo for the population on fighting corruption, which defines the basic concepts of corruption and identifies contacts where you can communicate on this matter.
