Zelenodolsky celebrated the birthday of the Hero of Soviet Union Nikolay Altynov

   Zelenodolsky celebrate an important date: February 10, has been 90 years since the birth of the Hero of Soviet Union Nikolay Altynov.
   Tanker, a native of the village of Osoka-Forged settlement area, in the battles of the great Patriotic war participated since August 1943.
Mechanic, tank driver 219-th tank brigade of the 1st Belorussian front, Sergeant A. d was fought on a tank of over 400 miles, destroying a large amount of manpower and equipment of the enemy. 21 January 1945 first crossed the bridge over river Noteć, and then one of the first burst in Kreuz (Krzyż, Poland), where he destroyed an artillery battery of the enemy.
    The Park named after hero with the tank on the pedestal was opened in Zelenodolsk on the street Komarova. Pupils of school №15 took patronage over him. Solemn events were held at school No. 15 and in the new Park on 10 February.
