November 20 - day legal assistance to children

November 20, 2015 across the country will host the All-Russian Day of legal assistance to children. This date is set by the decision of the Government Commission on the implementation of the Federal Law "On free legal aid in the Russian Federation."

The main content of the planned activities: legal assistance to orphans and children in difficult situations. On this day in all parts of the registry office in the city of Kazan will be held offices of free legal advice on the rights of children, custody, guardianship and child-parent relationships. Adoptive parents and guardians of orphans, as well as citizens who are planning to become guardians can apply for free legal advice.

Legal representatives of minors, as well as citizens aged 18 to 23 years old who study or receive social services in public institutions may apply for free legal aid from 9:00 to 18:00 at the following addresses:

On this day executive authorities, local governments, lawyers and notaries Kazan will provide legal advice on the rights of children; protection of legitimate interests of orphans and children left without parental care; children from poor families or from families in difficult situations.

Day legal assistance to children was first held in Russia November 20, 2013. In the provision of free legal assistance in the day attended by 3,347 lawyers and 2,443 notary. The subjects of the Russian Federation were held for more than three and a half thousand items consultations, which have received free legal assistance to adolescents and their parents, guardians and foster families. The action was attended by 635 children's homes, a lot of outreach activities took place in secondary schools, juvenile detention centers.
