During the week, from May 16 to May 22, 369 children were born in Kazan registry offices, 189 of them were boys, 180 were girls. The minimum weight of the child at birth was 1200 grams, and the maximum – 4800 grams, according to the Registry Office of Kazan. The most popular among the children's names of the past week were: Amir, Kirill, Ilya, Matvey, Veronika, Kamilya, Amelia, Elina. The rarest names that parents have named their babies: Nikanor, Selim, Ivar, Miranika, Marusya, Alvina. During the same period, 141 couples registered their marriage in the registry offices of the city.
