The birth of 172 girls and 164 boys was registered in the registry offices of the city. Over the past week, from March 28 to April 3, the birth of 336 children was registered in the Kazan registry offices: 164 boys and 172 girls. The minimum weight of the child at birth was 650 grams, and the maximum – 5280 grams, according to the Registry Office of Kazan.

The most popular among children's names were: Matvey, Timur, Islam, Arina, Kira, Darina. The rarest names that parents have named their babies are Ranis, Kabir, Spartak, Kuzma, Radmila, Yvette, Eleanor, Marta. During the same period, 124 couples registered their marriage in the registry offices of the city.
