Today, October 1, in the Kirov Department of the Civil Registry Office of Kazan, within the framework of the celebration of the Day of the Elderly, the celebration of the anniversaries of family life took place

Mendelssohn's March was performed for 8 Kazan families who have lived in love and harmony for 50 and 60 years.

The holiday turned out to be unusually touching, with tears of joy in the eyes of the heroes of the day. The “newlyweds” remembered how they signed in the register of acts of civil status and received the first family document from the hands of an employee of the registry office. Each of the families invited to the Kirov registry office today has beloved children, grandchildren and even great-grandchildren, a life full of events, joys and sorrows, and work.

Each pair of spouses was presented with gifts and a congratulatory address on behalf of the Mayor of Kazan, Ilsur Raisovich Metshin. The celebration ended with the traditional "Bitter!" to the clink of glasses of champagne.
