5 couples who celebrated the 50th and 60th wedding anniversaries this year visited the registry office as part of the celebration of anniversaries of family life. «Newlyweds» remembered how they signed in the book of acts of civil status and received the first family document from the hands of a registry office employee. Recall that the tradition of honoring couples who have been married for 50, 60 and 70 years originated in Kazan in 2000 and continues to the present. Every month, in all city departments of the registry office, employees hold celebrations for those Kazan citizens who, more than half a century ago, crossed the threshold of the registry office and tied their fortunes.
