Another excursion in the wedding palace of Leninogorsk
On July 23, 2019, the civil registry office of the Executive Committee of the Municipal Formation “Leninogorsk Municipal District” of the Republic of Tatarstan was visited by pupils of the school camp of school No. 5 of the city of Leninogorsk. Employees of the department conducted an excursion for the pupils of the school camp, told about the activities of the civil registry office, focused on the state registration of the most important events in a person’s life and focused on acts of birth registration and marriage. The interest of schoolchildren was aroused by the very first book of civil status records, which is in the archive of the registry office and dated 1919.
The children learned how much yellowed pages of assembly books can tell about the family life of our descendants - witnesses of historical events, tragic and joyful, optimistic and not so.
In a friendly conversation, the guys asked questions about the permitted age limit for marriage, about the obstacles to marriage. The employees of the registry office wished the children that in adulthood they always remembered that family happiness is shaped by love, care, understanding and devotion.
