«Candle of memory»
Employees of the registry office of the Executive Committee of Zelenodolsk municipal district paid tribute to the heroes who died during the great Patriotic war.
On June 21, the all-Russian action "Candle of memory" gathered hundreds of citizens in the victory square in Zelenodolsk. Zelenodolsk with children came to the Holy place – to the Eternal flame – to light a candle in memory of those who have not returned from the bloodiest war of the era. Residents of the city remembered those who fought 1418 days and nights in the great Patriotic war for the Motherland, freedom and independence of all mankind.
On the action it was possible to observe how fresh national memory and as eternal as the fire lit at the foot of the obelisk crowning military glory, its known and unknown soldiers is eternal.
Residents of Zelenodolsk honored the memory of the great heroes of the era with a minute of silence. Then the participants of the action "Candle of memory" passed through the streets of the city in a single stream and dropped hundreds of candles on the surface of the water of the city lake. A General "Thank you" was voiced all the Characters.
